Guys and Gals of the Winnipeg Touch Football League,
Well, it is starting to look like Mother Nature is going to make an appearance at Canad Inns Stadium this weekend. I suppose it is appropriate due to the fact we will be hosting Eskimos.
Anyway, in anticipation of snow tomorrow night, the Winnipeg Football Club is asking for assistance to clear snow off of the stands. If it snows tomorrow (Friday) during the day we would ask for helpers to report to Canad Inns Stadium commencing at 5:00 p.m, and we could go as long as midnight depending on snow accumulation.
In return, the Winnipeg Football Club will pay $8.50/hour and you get a free seat to the game at field level. There will be a four hour minimum in order to get a free ticket to the game. Your seat would be in the tent at the southeast corner. This is an excellent way to make a few extra bucks for your team or yourself, and you get to see the game at field level! We are looking to our community to assist us with this task and I could think of no better group than our league!
