Hey everyone, The annual Bomber's Pigskin Plus event is being held this coming Saturday May 30th. See http://www.bluebombers.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=611&Itemid=337 for details on the Pigskin event itself.
The WTFL Women's Division has set up a table at the event for the last couple of years to help attract more attention to the sport of touch football. We have WTFL giveaways and will have a prize draw. It's a fun day filled with football! And great chance to hang out with fellow WTFL'ers and meet new people.
The event runs from 8:30am to 4pm at the Stadium with setup beginning at 7am. We're looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to come help us promote women's touch football and the WTFL. We can assign shifts if people want depending on what times people can be there. We're looking for people who can make it at all times of the day so there's no obligation to be there for the entire event. If you'd like to volunteer for this, please email rebecca@wtfl.ca and indicate the times you can be at the stadium and I can fill you in with more details.
