Of course now it's looking like it's clearing up. Everybody in the city has cancelled their games, but maybe we all jumped the gun.
I can understand some people being upset if it's clear at 7pm, but I'm sure more of you would've been upset driving to the field at 6pm only to have the game cancelled.
Trust me, it's way more work for us to reschedule games than it is to just have you show up, so I'm likely more upset than you are. Next time maybe we'll wait a bit longer.
Sorry,
marc

Just don't schedule the Bengals and Anvils on the same day and the weather curse may go away. Our one and only game so far was against the Bengals and it was a windy evening even for optimist. Two rain delays since then...I'd like to lodge a formal complaint if someone could tell me where to send the documentation.

Bondiddy has just set a new season record (that I can remember) for rainouts. They are also undefeated and at this rate will not be challenged.
I'm thinking if we ever get a nice day on a weekend we should just have a bondiddy bengals tournament. Every team from Div A can show up and take turns playing them so that they can get their games in.

I do apologize! It seems anytime I'm scheduled to ref it turns out to be a rain out. I even gave my game this past monday away to try and shake the jinx but to no avail. The good news is that I have very few games left this half that I'm scheduled to ref so there should be better weather on the way.
