Is it possible for the QB to pass the ball over the rushers head and catch his own pass? Would the QB be considered tagged if the rusher touches him while the ball is in mid air?
Just curious if there is a rule about that...

Legal? NO
Tagged ? Yes
Rule about it? Yes
A Qb may throw a pass and it is deflected into the air and the QB catches it. He may only run with it. He may not make a second forward pass.

What if there is no deflection? Essentially passing to himself. I don't think that's legal.
