What happens when games are cancelled due to weather or for other reasons. When and how will we be notified? Also, will we have a makeup game scheduled for a later date?

If the came is cancelled before it starts it will be rescheduled. If it's cancelled after the game starts (lightning etc) it will be rescheduled if cancelled before half time.

Your team rep will be notified via email when the games are cancelled/rescheduled. It's a good habit to check the website before taking off for games, as any game changes will be posted here.

For little mountain park, you can go to their website to see the field condtion updates on days with poor weather http://www.littlemtnsports.com.

Remember, football is played in the rain as long as their is no lightning and the amount of water won't damage the fields. When in doubt, go to the field and the officials will make the final call.

Rain outs will be posted on the main page. Always assume the game is on unless posted on the site or contacted by your team rep. On days like today we generally will play - only when there is lightning or standing water on the fields will there be a cancellation.

If the league knows of standing water/lightning the game cancellation will be posted prior to the game. If not, it is possible to have the game cancelled at the field by the refs (thus giving you an excuse to go for beers).

Do the ref's on the field have contact info for the team rep's incase they call the game due to lighting, or standing water on the fields? because it's easier to call the team rep's for each team, than assume everyone has access to a computer and to the net.
