Is there an official word on the tournament this weekend?

Hi Arlen,
Due to shortage of teams we will not be holding the tournament this weekend. The teams that have registered have been notified by the league.
Last summer we held it in July with great success for the first local tournament in many years with 12 teams registering.
The one thing we learned last year was not to hold it during Super Spike and Hoop it Up. Many teams commented that they could not participate because of that conflict. As a result we decided to try August in order to avoid conflicting with the other two events. Unfortunately we seem to have competed with August heat, holidays and as a result small rosters (as you see at any given game lately).
Thanks to those teams that did register this year and not to worry, The WTFL Tournament will be back next year with a more friendly date and a very successful tournament!
