In another classic example of well thoughtout divisions and their teams, the Number one Franchise and the Number 2 Bonditty Bengals met for the World Championship of Div 6 Football in the River City, in the Winnipeg Touch Football league, 35th Anniversary season.

In another classic example of pre-ordained prognostication(learned that word in 2nd year Univ.), the Rick Hoydelo coached franchise, "Franchise" with Berry's little bro at QB, Ian "the magician" Dejagaar, led his team of young, upstart, Diesel snortin, Transcona lads, only to be out played, outwitted, and out scored by the Bonditty Bengals.
Because it is sixth division, apparently the players are only on a first name basis.
Leading scorers for the Bonditty Bengals Brett had 7 points, Tyler , Dan and Rodger had 6 points, while Paul (wasn't he the fifth Beatle?) had 2....(No that was Pete Best..Nic are you still with me??? :)
Ian threw to Matt for the Franchise's only points.
This game was actually closer than it sounds as both teams drove the field, time after time. Obviously turnovers kil led the Franchise.
Tough one for the Franchise, but a great win for the BB's who pulled away and earned it in the end. No more 6th div for you boys!
