As stated in the 2008 Registration information, there have been a few changes to the requirements for multiple team players this year. Please read the following carefully if this pertains to you or any players on your team(s).
In the 2008 season, in order to qualify to play on multiple teams, you MUST attend the officials clinic on April 25th and 26th and MUST be available to ref at some point during the season. Anyone registered on multiple teams at the end of registration are expected to sign up for the officials clinic and have the option to either attend the ref draft OR let the league know of their availability so that they can be slotted in where refs are needed. And remember, the officials clinic is free of charge this year and these are PAID reffing assignments so they will get paid according to the position they take on.
Multi team players not fulfilling these requirements will not be eligible to play on more than one team and will have to choose only one roster/team to be a part of. This will be monitored throughout the season, so any player with the possibility of playing on more than one team later on should plan to attend the Officials clinic so as not to prevent them from being eligible. It is free after all!
Team Reps: Please ensure that as team reps, you pass on to your players all of the above information prior to registration. They should expect to be contacted shortly after registration if they have yet to sign up for the Officials clinic.

Hey MTG (Multi-Team Guys)
I am conducting the ref clinic(s) along with some of our other Super Certified Ref instructors. We were hoping to get an idea of how many of last years 117 multi team guys(MTG) are going to again play on mtt (multi team teams)I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THAT because for the refs clinic that you all have to attend, I have to provide you with resource material (that would be rule books, and some basic positioning and philosophy readings)
I am pretty sure,117 guys won't be coming to the ref clinic, but maybe 115???? So, if you are planning could you sign up by emailing me, so I can add your name to the list, and of course get the correct amount of resources.
You don't have to wait till registration night(the very last minute) to confirm your attendance at the clinic.
The clinic is for four hours on Friday night 6:30- 10:30 April 25, CanadInns Polo Park. It's a regular $35.00 cost, but this year it's free. Oh, and you also have to attend Sturgeon Creek field the Saturday to actually show us what you learned the night before, by reffing (headlines person)- 15 minutes of the Assassin's practice (1:30 - 3:00)
OK, so get those email sent my way, so I can ask Damien to print off another 75 copies of the rule and case book, so all you MTG guys can help out reffin, and we'd be able to supply 4 refs a game if we wanted to.
and here's a motto sent my way by that top official of ours,
"In 2007,(for the officials,) it was no heaven,
but in 2008, don't hate, certify, and participate!"
Isn't that cool? That's why that guy is that top official.
