Hey in case ya haven't heard, Sun Parties.com, Catch, Run & Cover and Mazur Football, want to send you and a buddy to Mexico, and all you have to do is show us you are the best DB/Rusher or Receiver/QB, and you earn a Mexican vacation.

As noted elsewhere, Sun Parties is planning a beach tourney in Feb-March 2009 for us Winnipeggers who all seem to vacation down there. So the winner can check out the potential 2009 Sun Parties.com "Hasta la Vista, Baby" Beach Football, tournament sites, when you are down there. Stay tuned.

Here's the info on the Winnipeg Two on two, April 5th, Golfdome,

Hey, I haven't heard a lot from any defenders looking to lay some lumber on those receivers, in the two on two contest.....but hey, a Trip to Mexico is on the line for the winners.

DBs/Rushers get points for knockdowns, sacks, int's, and since the contest was primarily designed by two DB's, (Marcus and Kasali)you know they have designed it, so DB/Rushers can win.

So DB's get a rushman and sign up.

Some of the rules are, that the QB, must stay in a 5 x 10 area to pass,(so the rusher gets there pretty fast.) That means, the Receivers have to run precise patterns. (We are looking for the best here!) Plus, the receivers do have to run a selected pattern from 3 distances, (plus a fourth double move "money" route) So as "Coach Colonel" Kelm had pointed out, if the guy runs a short route and an intermediate route, all he has left to run is the long or the "money" (double- move route), so, you could "layoff," in that case, and go for the pick, and the trip to Mexico!!!

"dun -da -da -lun, dun dun dun, dun -da -da -lun dun dun,...tequila!"

(So, receivers, make sure you stick in one of the home runs early, so the DB's can't lay off.)

The one on one tourney goes April 5th, 11:25pm - 1:40am. Info on more specific details will be available at the dome and can also be sent to you via e-mail.

$20.00 bucks gets you in, qualifies you for other door prizes, t-shirts, and of course the trip to Mexico. This is the inaugural event.
