Listen up!....If ya want to improve the facility you play in, and have a few bucks to invest give me an email. The City of Winnipeg parks and Recreation department has just confirmed that it wants to open up talks with the WTFL regarding a permanent facility, specific to our needs.
The IDEAL, but not necessarily immediate, goal, would be to create a multi-use facility that we the WTFL, football and the community, could use to enhance recreation opportunities, in this specific area of the city, on a permanent year round basis. Ideally, this could include a multi-field complex with artificial turf, concessions, stands etc.
If you have the cash and the interest, in perhaps leaving a legacy, shoot an email my way for futher discussion.
