Ok, since a lot of you actually care about the stats, let me give some teams some tips on how to make sure your stats get entered correctly and quickly:
1) Get all your players on your online roster. Yes, this sounds pretty obvious, but I just entered in 2 games and all 4 teams had guys missing. Do you think I'm going to wait a few days and then go back to enter their 1 sack in or their 2 points? HELL NO. Not on the roster, NO STATS FOR YOU.
2) PRINT YOUR PLAYERS NAMES CLEARLY ON THE CARDS! Again, you'd think this is common sense. If I cant' read your name it makes it hard for me to figure out who's stats it is. Sure I can usually figure it out after staring at it for a bit, but then people wonder why "Dan got my stats but it should've been Dean's". Well when these cards go through a fax machine, or it's raining out and the card gets wet etc etc, the writing on the card can be smudged. (The website has a feature for printing out game cards with the rosters filled in, maybe the league should use it).
3) Get a player on your team who's not completely useless on a computer to volunteer to help enter in the game cards. Lets be honest, the refs don't care about Buddy's scoring race, but maybe you do. But don't try to cheat the stats, the website logs who entered in the cards.
4) After the game, go ask the ref if you can view the game card. Most refs I know will be happy to share it with you, and you can address errors AT THAT POINT. (you can even offer to take the card home and enter for them) Don't email people 2 weeks later complaining that the ref didn't record your 1 interception. Nobody cares about your 1 interception except for you. If you care that much, get your team captain to look over the card at the end of the game to make sure it's good to go. If something gets keyed into the website wrong, then obviously somebody will help you out. But whatever is on the game card is the official record of the game, not what you want them to enter in the site.
Most people would agree, if we're going to track stats, they should be correct stats. If you guys can follow these tips it will help them be as correct as possible.
As far as complaining about the speed of the stats entering, get real. This isn't the NFL. And don't say the other league is faster with the stats, I can't even load half the stats on that site.
POLL TIME: How many of you guys have blackberries or phones with internet access on them? Perhaps I we can setup a special score entering interface for you, then you can hang out at the fields all night and key in live stats.

On that note, teams are required to have players on their roster. If you have a player on your card that the league doesn't know about, we have no way of verifying they are eligible and therefore by default, are assumed to be ineligible. They must have a waiver in, be on the roster and if joe multi-team player guy has 2 games recorded but played 11, he's still not eligible for playoffs. Please keep your rosters up to date so the league has an accurate record of those playing in the league.

I would like to start off by saying the refs are doing a fantastic job of entering game results and stats! kudos to all involved as well as the league exec. There are, however, a few what i will refer to as competitive players on my team who werent given credit for a few stats in our first game. I was curious who i mite be able to contact to get these game stats corrected if it is not too late?
