Boston Pizza has once again offered to sponsor the WTFL Player of the week. This year we are going to do something different regarding the awarding of the "awards" We are going to physically award them, at a WTFL/Boston Pizza luncheon, twice a month, tentatively set for Saturday afternoons, at the new Boston Pizza on St. James street and Ness.
We will still announce the weekly winners via the web site, but distribute the za, 2x a month. We are adding a complimentary photo, that will grace the website, so everyone can see who the Star(s) of the Week is.(from each division yet!!!)
So, in the meantime, if you know of some outstanding performances, write 'em up in the forum. I anticipate the committee will finalize their choices by the Monday evening of the previous week, and we'll announce them Tuesday.
By the way has anyone tried Boston Pizza's the Canadian? (Is that what it's called Craig!)

That and Derrick, of Neccessary Roughness, is just about to open the CUPCAKERY, 439 Stradbrooke, later this month. His cupcakes are as good as Craigs Canadian! They are so good you can't stop at one!!
Also note Adele's (Lady Wildcats)baking (what were those cookies called Adele?)that are available on a limited special occassion basis. Co-ed tournament, Regina Tournament....absolutely addictive!
OK off-topic- get those Stars of the week in. We are meeting right now and selecting last week's POW! We'll announce the first set of player's of the Week, Tuesday morning at 11:45 am!
