just a quick question......do games continue as scheduled if it's only raining with no lightning? or are they cancelled with any kinda rain?

I think it's also dependent on how much rain has fallen on the fields. Too much and it gets soggy and it's easy to rip up the fields with the cleats, plus it increases the potential for injuries since it's more slippery.

Great question, and great answer.
As contractees, the City says not to play on wet fields where the grass can be torn up, and the field wrecked. (That's why sometimes we don't cancel a game, and let the Head Ref make the call at the field.)
We have also found Christine Lesperance, an open field park, as a potential replacement if the conditions are too wet. We will set up the fields with cones, and play. If damage is done it will likely grow back, as no one uses the site for actual games.
Brad your question is excellent.
If a game is played and called before the half, the game shall be re=played(unless one team would say no) This would be re-schedulled by the league.
If the game is completed until the second quarter expires (half time), it will count as a game fully played. The score will count as a final score.
