August 8, 2008, question # 25
Dipping into the chasm, of what seems to be endless trivia, this question is, as I said in the previous post, about Politics, politics, politics.....
This former Assassin, later Brooklands Bomber, was always open. He was "7-11" before 7 - 11, was 7- 11!!! Unfortunately, politics were said to play a role in his move to the Brooklands (Hotel) Bombers. At that point he led his new team to the 1986 semifinals in Vancouver in a "yards" overtime.
Today, married to the Principal of River East? Collegiate, with a soon to be NCAA signed basketball playing son, this "touch football" legend is now a Municpal councillor for East St. Paul!!!!
Politics, politics, politics.... Who is jersey #20?

MB325 you are correct!! CP20 was the legend I am talking about. This Mick Jagger look alike had a long and wonderful career having played for the Hawkeyes, trying out with the Stampeders, and then playing with the Assassins, while coaching his wife in the Winnipeg Woman's Touch Footall league and her team the Crimson Tide.
Congratulations Marc!
