September 11, 2008, Question # 57

Last one before the play-offs.......A ref abuse incident happened back in the 90's. However, what made this one somewhat of a surprise was that a former CFL player was involved. Actually, the only CFL player to be suspended by the league...Anyone know who this "bad apple" was?

I can not decide between these 2 guys so my picks are Rod Hill or Less Browne!

How are the drugs????

Neither!! :) You're closer with Les Browne (one of his ex-teammates) :)

OK...I know who it was.

Corris Ervin. Played for the TiCats in 91. 5th rd draft pick(136th) of Denver's in 88'.That's a full 44 picks before Bomber great Kerwin Bell(180).Besides his suspension from touch football, his claim to fame was a small part in "The Waterboy". He played a DB in the movie.

Gotta love google.
